Some thoughts on sanity or the lack thereof.

The inevitable onset of madness has begun.

Tonight I poured Diet Irn Bru into my cup of tea instead of milk.

Why?

I don't have a clue.

More worryingly...

It's the third time I have done this in the last week.

It's not even like the bottles are remotely similar.

They even sit on opposite sides of the fridge.

Maybe I should just give in to it, and embrace the madness.

Or maybe I should try drinking it, it could be really nice.

This seems unlikely.

Try it! You might have accidentally discovered the greatest tasting drink in the world and if you sell the recipe it could make you a millionaire.

Makes you wonder how all these other things that should never go together actually turn out to be amazing. Like pork and apple, cheese and digestives ... in fact, milk in coffee, when you think about it. Should be blech, but most of us seem to like it. I have to stop thinking about coffee now; I've just made myself yet another cup. Damn.

Ahh Irn Bru my favorite hangover cure! As for putting it in your tea I have to say it doesn't sound very appealing

Help! I've just done it again.

With Cranberry juice instead of Irn Bru this time.

I don't even like Cranberry juice.

How did the simple act of making a cup of tea become so confusing and fraught with danger?

I'd say embrace the madness H!

I still don't understand why some people think chips with mayonnaise is wrong. Someone once told me it was a recipe for EVIL. I happen to love it. Perhaps its a marmite type thing?

I am pleased to tell you Jess that in Germany chips with mayo are the done thing. They look at you like you're insane if you eat them with ketchup. So you're not alone.
