Mistaken Identity.

My boss thinks my name is Hannah.

I've told her my name is Heather.

And I wear a name badge with my name in big bold letters.

Still she keeps on calling me Hannah.

How do I get her to stop?

Cut out her tongue?

Whatever her name is, start calling her something else. When she says "but my name is..." say "and my name is Heather". I'm famous for my diplomacy, me.

Write Hannah on your name badge. :-)

I don't know if I would be able to handle that -- it would drive me crazy and I would probablyl go off on her rahter quickly! I guess as long as the paycheck has the right name on it...! ;)

you could always ignore her, if she asks you for anything, or to do anything, don't respond until she uses your right name.

either that or ask her for a private word, and explain that you find it offensive to be called hannah, and say if it continues you'll take the matter up with the union/higher management or a solicitor....

or wait for her outside in a dark place and twat her on the back of the head with a lump of 2by4...

smash her instep with the SCOTTISH STOMPING PUMPS OF DOOM you just posted about.
they look positively lethal.

I did exactly what minion suggested...i.e ignore her...worked a treat and gets you out of work for quite a while!

Whoa! a little more violence than I'm comfortable with being suggested but nice thoughts anyway.

Oh and welcome to Anna and First Nations, good to see you on here *waves*

How could anyone possibly mix up your name? Seems impossible to me.

Bring some real "heather" and give her a bouquet...wait, that would be kind of weird wouldn't it?
